1. Zhangjiakou, China
Zhangjiakou city in China’s Hebei province is the main venue for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The relatively new site has quickly risen to popularity. The resort’s diverse trails, covering over 600 acres of terrain, can both accommodate absolute beginners and also challenge weathered experts.
2. Changbaishan, China
Changbaishan Ski Resort is located in the beautiful Jilin province in northeastern China. The Changbaishan mountain range shares a border with North Korea, and its surrounding area is a protected nature reserve. Its snow quality has been compared to that of the Swiss Alps, and the resort is idyllic and luxurious.
3. Nanshan, China
Nanshan Ski Resort in Beijing, China is a popular winter hotspot for local residents, holiday visitors, as well as professional athletes who come to train there. Shymbulak Ski Resort in Kazakhstan is the largest ski resort in Central Asia. Gulmarg ski resort is situated in the Kashmir region of the Indian subcontinent, and is considered to be one of the greatest ski destinations in South Asia. It boasts magnificent views as well as pristine Himalayan snow. The Gulmarg Gondola is the highest ski lift in the world, reaching a staggering altitude of 3,979 meters.
