Looking for a CHALLENGE?! We’ve already tackled the via ferrata in Xianju, so we’re taking it to the next level. Will be heading to Yandang Mountain where we will be hooked up to steel cables and set out to conquer the longest via ferrata in the country, taking an awesome hike through nature, checking out an ancient village, spectacular views, and more!

14:19 – Our train departs to Yandang Mountain
18:04 – Pick up at the train station and head over to our guesthouse (freetime to explore the town + dinner on your own)

08:00 – Head over to start our via ferrata challenge
09:00 – Via Ferrata training (Route A/B) & preparation
09:30 – Via Ferrata time!!! Walk along cliffs and climb rocks, while taking in some breathtaking views! 12:00 – Picnic with your favorite food
14:00 – Complete our challenge and head over to an ancient village
16:00 – Return to our guest house in town
17:00 – Local specialty dinner
18:00 – Relax after an intense day, chill out in the town, or head over to the night viewing point of Ling Peak (optional: 40 RMB / ticket)

08:00 – Check out and head out for a 2 hour trek with awesome mountain scenery, checkout an ancient Buddhist temple (Jingming Temple)

Note: If your passport is in the visa office for processing, please bring the slip of paper given to you by the authorities and a photocopy of your passport with you on the trip. This paper can be used for domestic travel instead of a passport.
If the traveler decides to cancel, s/he can get refund of the deposit (a small cancellation fee may apply) up to one month before departure and no refund after that. What is the minimum age for this trip? Can kids join?
Children 6 years and older can join, depending on the child’s fitness level. The bike ride is not suitable for small children. Safety is our priority, so if you have any doubts, please contact us.
The trip is not suitable for those who are seriously afraid of heights, and those with cardiovascular/cerebrovascular disease.
