This trip is all about spending the end of the year on a breathtaking trek up a mountain to refresh your soul… Hike through bamboo forests, tea plantations, and grasslands, up the top of the mountain to some ancient windmills– where we’ll set up camp! Enjoy the last few moments of the year watching the gorgeous sunset on top of a mountain, celebrating with a BBQ party, checking out the stars, then catching the first light of the New Year with a stunning view!!

13:00 – Meet at Hongkou Stadium (Metro Lines 8 and 3) Exit 3, outside – follow the music!
17:30 – Arrive and check in our hotel

Sunday, December 31
08:00 – Simple Western breakfast
09:00 – Head over to start our trek
10:30 – Start our awesome hike! (4 km, ~ 6hrs)
12:30 – Picnic lunch
13:00 – Continue our trek, ultimately reaching the summit!
15:00 – Set up our tents
16:00 – Enjoy our BBQ party for dinner
17:13 – Watch the awesome sunset
18:00 – Bonfire party to celebrate New Year’s Eve with music and drinks!!!
Monday, January 1
06:55 – Watch the first sunrise of 2018!
07:30 – Simple Western breakfast
08:00 – Pack up our camping equipment
08:30 – Continue our trek down, passing by a lake, wetlands and other awesome views! (7.5 km, ~ 2.5 hrs)
11:00 – Arrive at our destination and hop on a bus to the restaurant
12:30 – Local specialty lunch
13:30 – Hop on the bus and chillax on our way back home
17:30 – Arrive in Shanghai

Included – 1 night – Clean double occupancy rooms for day 1 night in a 3-star hotel is included in price. These will be booked on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to room alone, the single occupancy fee is an extra 150 RMB per person per night. Please note that single occupancy availability may be limited. (We can help you find someone to share if needed. However, if there is an uneven number of travelers, the single occupancy fee may apply. Pairings are distributed on a first come first serve basis.)

We do not go cheap on safety… We get the best equipment and the most experienced instructors for our trips.

PASSPORT/ID card, camera/GoPro, camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag (-10℃), mat, lamp, etc. — unless you rent it from us), small day pack, hiking boots, walking sticks, headlight/flashlight, flip flops, towel, toiletries, warm clothes, and your favorite food for our picnic on day 2.
Note: If your passport is in the visa office for processing, please bring the slip of paper given to you by the authorities along with a copy of your passport with you on the trip. This paper can be used for domestic travel instead of a passport.
If the traveler decides to cancel, s/he can get refund of the deposit (a small cancellation fee may apply) up to November 30 and no refund after that.
