It’s time for some water sports 🙂 On this 2 day trip we’ll be hopping in kayaks and try our hand at SUP in the Thousand Island Lake area. We will then explore the local villages, hike through nature with amazing waterfalls. If we have time we can swim a little bit and, if we are lucky, spot some wild monkeys ! At night we will have BBQ dinner by the lake!
Thousand Island Lake, also known as Qiandaohu, is located in Chun’an County in Zhejiang Province. It gets its name from the 1,078 islands dotting in the lake. This man-made lake was formed by flooding after the completion of the Xin’an River hydroelectric station.
Qiandaohu is not only famous for beautiful lake views and lush forests. but also for its clean and drinkable water, which is used in the production of Nongfu Springs.
