Is the retreat beginner friendly?
All levels are more than welcome, even first timers 🙂
Yoga classes will be adjusted by the instructor based on the level of the group as a whole. All schedules are subject to change based on local weather and any other conditions that may occur.
During designated mealtimes, we will be observing Noble Silence. This means practicing mindful eating, where talking and the use of cellphones are not encouraged.
If you are new to practicing Noble Silence, you can gently observe your breath entering in and going out of your nostril. Observe your body sensations (e.g. eating, walking, etc.) when you are silent, this is to help take your attention away from a busy mind.
Is it possible not to do the hiking part?
Yes!! No activities besides yoga are compulsory, so you can choose to spend your free time as you like!

Say Hi to Mandy 🙂

💐The day after our retreat I woke up feeling, a bit achy, but mentally very at peace. Thank you so much for having so much passion and skill, I feel this really does ignite the same feelings in people that attend your class or retreats. If I move back to Shanghai I will always come to you for classes. You’re truly an amazing woman, I have so much respect and love for you. –Taryn
💐I am thankful to Mandy for bringing me to this earthly paradise and creating a beatiful and deep experience. This was a truly memorable and profound yoga – and much more – dive for me.–George
💐Perfectly spent three days of the holidays, can’t wait to go again for something similar in near future! I will give another try to practice meditation daily, that dancing one today really got me!–Lenka
💐Thanks so much for the wonderful yoga and meditation program Mandy! It is all truly memorable to me!–Ruth
💐I can’t express how thankful I am for the retreat the passed few days. Sleep is usually my enemy and I really feel as though I learned practices that I can use going forward to help me with this. I fell asleep in a room full of people I had just met and that is absolutely unheard of. I also slept like a baby the last few nights and that is a gift I am so grateful for. Coming back to my yoga practice was also so great and being in my body and out of my head has been amazing, even if I struggled with strength. So thank you! I am so grateful. Hopefully I will be able to join you at a retreat some time during the summer. — Lisa
